avid Katz has been instructing West Coast Swing, Ballroom and Country Western dancing for the past 15 years. He has won over 100 competitions in both Country and Swing, including the US Open Jack & Jill and US Open Team Division. He has promoted Dance Events at the Westlake Inn in Westlake Village, Tickets Lounge in Woodland Hills and the Thousand Oaks Inn in Thousand Oaks and is currently teaching at and hosting Friday evening dances at The Granada Pavilion in Granada Hills California as well as a Saturday Dance, every 2nd Saturday of the Month at The Goebel Center in Thousand Oaks.  He also teaches private classes in Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley. He is a former member of the “Swingtime Dancers”, “The Silk N’ Spurs Dancers” and "Sonny Watson’s “A” Team" dance teams.

The following dance lessons are conducted in David's  home studio in Agoura Hills, California. PARTNERS NOT NEEDED.
